In this module, we write KCL and KVL equations to solve for the node voltages and loop currents, respectively. In our analysis, we end up having a linear set of equations for our node voltage and loop current. This tutorial revisits the various methods for solving linear equations simultaneously. The three videos cover four different methods of solution, with two of them focusing on formatting the problem in matrix form and calculating the inverse of a matrix.
Learning Objectives
After completing this module, you should be able to:
1. Solve a set of linear equations simultaneously, using four different approaches.
2. Write the set of linear equations into a matrix form.
3. Solve the system of equations by taking the inverse of the coefficient matrix.
