Dr. Dallal is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh. His research interests include biomedical signal processing, biomedical image analysis, computer vision, machine learning, networked control systems, and human-machine interaction.
Dr. Dallal’s primary focus is on educational development and innovation. His engineering education research emphasizes flipped, blended, and adaptive learning methodologies.
Currently, Dr. Dallal serves as the Division Chair of the New Engineering Educators Division of the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) and as the Chair of the IEEE Education Society – Pittsburgh Chapter.
